Celebrity Clients Beauty Brunch Launch for Haven Hair Extensions in St. Maarten at Sparkle Weekend ~ Saturday August 1. 2009 - Holland House Beach Hotel. 

Brunch, sweets, treats, makeovers, margaritas and complimentary consultations from the two celebrity founders of Haven Hair Extension. The ladies of St. Maarten are in for star treatment at the launching of Haven Hair Extensions, the high profile event of Sparkle Weekend 2009 to take place Saturday August 1, 2009, at the Holland House Beach Hotel, 3:00 p.m. start.

Haven Hair Extensions (HHE) is founded by New York celebrity stylist Nadia Vassel and actress Tika Sumpter, who plays Layla Williamson on the daytime television hit, One Life to Live, broadcasted on ABC television network. 

Tika Sumpter began her journey in acting at age 17. She recently appeared in the feature film "Salt"  starring Angelina Jolie and"Brooklyn's Finest" directed by Antoine Fuqua.  She is the present face of Johnson and Johnson's Ambi Facial Products in the commercial section, complimenting the numerous bookings she has had for  national commercials representing  international brands such as Liz Claiborne's Curve fragrances, Cascade, Hewlett Packard, and Lowes Home Improvement. She is equally proud of the roles she had in several public service announcements, including an AIDS awareness campaign starring the acclaimed hip-hop artist, Common.

Nadia Vassell’s work is best displayed by artists like Chrisette Michele, Lil Mama, Ashanti, Rhianna, Russell Simmons Music Group-Black Budda Fly,  and Roc-A-Fella artist-Teirra Mari among others. Nadia is best Known for her undetectable weaves and promotion of healthy hair. Television and print profiles of her work are regularly included in lifestyle magazines such as Uptown, Essence, Black Sophisticate, Smooth and many more. 

Sparkle weekend is an annual lifestyle fashion and beauty event produced by Stile Diva Inc - St. Maarten satellite office. The event is now in its third year of operation. The 2009 event will be hosted from July 31st to August 2.
